  • Castings and Drawings to build a scale model of the 400 horse power Lane and Bodley Corliss horizontal steam engine manufactured in 1905 by The Lane and Bodley Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. The original engine is currently on display at the Public Museum of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The engine was salvaged from a furniture manufacturing company where it ran line shafting to power the factory machines. The original engine ran at 70 RPM on 100 pounds of steam pressure.

  • Overall length: 22 inches

  • 90 sheets (11 x 17) CAD drawings containing machining and assembly details, and section views to aid assembly
  • Shipped in 2 packages totaling about 65 pounds
  • Note: This set contains only castings and drawings. There are fasteners and additional parts made from bar stock that are not included. However, the machining details for parts made from bar stock are include in the drawings.
